WTFC First Team Result – 23rd March

WTFC travelled to Bristol where they played Stockwood Green First, taking three points from the match with a 3-0 WIN.  Watchet’s goal scorers were Billy Jones, Alfie Cox & Charley Clausen, who was also the A & P Farmer man of the match.

WTFC First Team Result – 16th March

The First Team welcomed Staplegrove First to the Memorial Ground on Saturday.  Watchet took an early lead which they maintained and  WON 2-1.  Watchet’s goals came from Billy Jones & Alfie Cox with the A & P Farmer man of the match  being awarded to Ali Harrison.

After no match  last weekend with pitches across the County suffering from the wet weather the First Team were back in action on Saturday on the Memorial Ground against Combe St Nicholas and they  WON 4-1.  Watchet’s goal scorers were Adam Jefferies x2,  Alfie Cox & Josh Aspey.   The A & P Farmer man of the match was awarded to Adam Jefferies.

Founded in 1887, Watchet Town Football club is one of the oldest football clubs in Somerset. Our clubhouse and main pitches are situated on the war memorial ground in the historic harbour town of Watchet,  adjacent to the heritage West Somerset railway line.  We warmly welcome members and guests in our clubhouse, where refreshments are available.
