Watchet Waves just miss out on final at Bridgwater Comp

Watchet Waves (24-25 U12s) played in the Bridgwater Wolves tournament yesterday afternoon.

They finished joint top on points in their group with four wins and a draw, without conceding a single goal!

Unfortunately, they lost in the semi final, going 1-0 up in the match with 10 seconds left to play and Clevedon grabbed an equaliser, and then went on to win on penalties.

A fantastic effort by the boys, not beaten in open play, they should be very proud of themselves 🔴⚫️

Ladies at Pen Mill Comp

The Ladies travelled to Pen Mill on Sunday to take part in their annual tournament, the team played great and endured some quite physical matches!

WTFC U10s wrapped up 2024-25 with a busy weekend paintballing and then their end of season presentation.

Founded in 1887, Watchet Town Football club is one of the oldest football clubs in Somerset. Our clubhouse and main pitches are situated on the war memorial ground in the historic harbour town of Watchet, adjacent to the heritage West Somerset railway line.
