Farewell Adam

Saturday saw Adam Bishop play his final match before hanging up his gloves & boots.

Adam came up through the clubs pathway from youth to senior football and has been a true asset to us, it is with great sadness we say farewell but wish Adam all the very best in his football retirement 🔴⚫

WTFC First Team Result – 4th May

The final match of the season saw WTFC First team travel to Ashcott where Watchet  Won 2-0,  resulting in the team securing  Runners Up position in the league.  Goal scorers were Charley Clausen & Billy Jones and the A & P Farmer man of the match was awarded to Adam Bishop.

Winners of the Plate Competition

Watchet Smugglers, came away Winners of the Under 10s Plate Competition in the Taunton Youth Mini League final days.

In the semi finals they were drawn against Wembdon Saints, which through grit & determination they won 1-0, they then faced Staplegrove Grove in the final where they were victorious with a 2-1 win 🔴⚫

WTFC First Team Result – 20th April

WTFC First team travelled to Staplegrove to play their penultimate match of the season.  Watchet Lost 3-1, Goals scorer was Charley Clausen and the A & P Farmer man of the match was awarded to Jay Darrell.  We congratulate Staplegrove on winning the Ulhsport County Division 1.

Founded in 1887, Watchet Town Football club is one of the oldest football clubs in Somerset. Our clubhouse and main pitches are situated on the war memorial ground in the historic harbour town of Watchet,  adjacent to the heritage West Somerset railway line.  We warmly welcome members and guests in our clubhouse, where refreshments are available.
